Growth Continues for TWCBC Partner Program

Cable Industry’s First, Largest Channel Initiative Keeps Earning Partners’ Confidence With New Services, Larger Support Staff

October 2013 | New York, NY

Business is on the rise for the cable industry’s first and largest sales channel program – as the TWCBC Partner Program doubled its revenue in 2011, tripled the size of its support staff and is now aggressively moving up market with an ever-growing suite of business communications services designed to attract top channel partners.

Fueling its rapid growth is the ongoing investment made by Time Warner Cable Business Class in its business. Key initiatives include expansion of the serviceable footprint, increased emphasis on expanding sales distribution channels, a focus on moving up market and the rollout of new products to attract and retain additional customers.

Launched in 2008, the TWCBC Partner Program has grown rapidly by providing sales partners with tailored support coupled with a full suite of Internet, Phone, TV and Ethernet services that give their small-, medium- and enterprise-sized businesses high-bandwidth alternatives to traditional telco offerings. TWCBC is also an attractive alternate-path option, due to its hybrid-fiber coax (HFC) infrastructure and next-generation metro and long-haul fiber networks.

“Time Warner Cable takes this business seriously, and our focus on delivering reliable services over our wholly-owned fiber-rich network, offers partners high-quality communications options for their customers,” said Jim Delis, Vice President of National Sales, Time Warner Cable Business Services. “Integral to our success is an ever-expanding in-market and back-office team dedicated to supporting this sales channel. They ensure that our sales partners have the tools, resources and support to succeed with us.”

To date, the TWCBC Partner program has established partnerships with more than 90 national Master Agents and local regional agents. According to Matt Harty, President/CEO of Converged Network Services Group in Charlotte, N.C., “We have been extremely satisfied with the TWCBC partnership, which continues to be a source of business growth for us. With the addition of new products and services, and its enhanced partner support, Time Warner Cable continues to be a terrific partner.”
