November 2015 | New York, NY
Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC) was recognized Tuesday evening with an award for “Best Marketing – Worldwide” during the MEF 2015 Excellence Awards Dinner in Dallas, Texas.
The awards, held in conjunction with the GEN15 event, recognize service, application, technology, and professional excellence and innovation in the global Carrier Ethernet and emerging Third Network community.
“Everything we do is in the name of providing the highest quality services for our customers, and this award recognizes the efforts of our nearly 7,000 Time Warner Cable Business Class employees,” said Stephanie Anderson, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Time Warner Cable Business Services.
The judging panel for the awards was comprised of global and regional senior analysts from Current Analysis, Frost & Sullivan, IDC, IHS Infonetics, Metanoia, Ovum, SDxCentral, Vertical Systems, and independent judges.
The MEF 2015 Service Provider Awards recognize leadership in the development and delivery of global, regional, retail, and wholesale services as well as excellence in Carrier Ethernet / Third Network service innovation, marketing, and network modernization.
TWCBC’s industry-standard, MEF-compliant nationwide Ethernet allows businesses to securely and reliably link multiple locations with scalable bandwidth speeds ranging from 5 Mbps to 10 Gbps. Leveraging its 150,000-fiber-route-mile network infrastructure that serves 31 major U.S. metro areas and nearly 1 million on-net buildings, TWCBC became the first North American service provider to achieve certifications for all eight MEF CE2.0 Services, and currently ranks as the top MSO (and fifth overall) on Vertical Systems Group’s U.S. Carrier Ethernet LEADERBOARD.
